It was anything but chilly at this year's Winter Dance: Rockin' at the North Pole. Thanks to the Dance Committee, our cafeteria was transformed into a warm and toasty "winter wonderland" perfect for all the dancing that took place on the dance floor. There were also tons of alternate activities for those that weren't rocking out to DJ Packo like the Tribal Tattoo airbrush booth, the winter Neoprint booth, and all the food booths on the lanai. If there wasn't enough to do students played with all their might to win all the cool, free prizes in the admin parking lot where there were several giant inflatable games to play and also the always popular Teacher Balloon Drop. Who could think of a better way to head into the two-week Winter Break other than a cool dance like this? With activities like this, the students at Highlands always have lots to look forward to from week to week, month to month -- there's never a dull moment here!
