We started the school year off proper way back in August at the Welcome Back Assembly. Remember that? It was an important school year as our school went through it's 50th year of existence. The 50th Anniversary we celebrated just a few months ago reminded us that our time here at Highlands was temporary, only 2 short years, and that's why we should always make the best of what little time we have.
And here we stand now, at our Farewell Assembly ready to say goodbye to yet another school year, to teachers that are leaving us, and especially the 8th graders moving on to high school. Today is also a day to celebrate all our talented students and faculty in song, dance and games. We will miss you all and we hope that this day will be memorable to keep and hold a special place, forever in your minds and hearts.
