Minute To Win It! Lunch Challenge Week!

Do you love games?  You do?!  But can you do it one minute?  January 25-27 the Leadership Class hosted a "Minute To Win It!" Lunch Challenge Week in the Cafeteria during lunch.  Based on the hit NBC show of the same name they tried to capture the same spirit and excitement over a 3 day series of difficult and entertaining challenges.  The first day's challenge was "Face the Cookie" where contestants had 60 seconds to get the cookie on their forehead into their mouth for 50 spirit points.  The second challenge was called "Chocolate Unicorn" was even harder as students had to stack 8 cookies on their forehead and hold it for 3 seconds in order to score 100 spirit points for their teams.  The third and last day of the Minute To Win It Lunch Challenge was called "Bite Me."  Contestants struggled and stretched to bite the 6 paper bags of varying heights to place them on a table in the correct order.  The tiniest bag stood just 2" off the ground and had every contestant literally falling over in order to win!  At the end of the 3 day challenge Na Koa and Laule'a ended up the big winners scooping the most points.  The Minute To Win It Lunch Challenge was such a success the Leadership class decided to host an a whole-school challenge during Homeroom on Friday, February 3rd.  It was called "Fun Friday MTWI Challenge: Face The Cookie" where all 1,000 students, teachers and staff members played the most popular MTWI game of them all and earned spirit points in the process.  Here is the spirit point breakdown:

Na Koa - 210 sp
Fantastic 4 - 110 sp
Laule'a - 210 sp
Hui Mana'o - 70 sp
Ho'oko - 160 sp
Laulima - 120 sp
