Mid-Year Leadership Retreat

Today was an amazing team building experience!  Every activity required planning and trust, as well as teamwork.  My favorite activity was getting to walk on the tight-rope.  It was so much fun!  In the beginning, we struggled; we kept shaking and falling, but soon we got the hang of it and it became gradually easier.  Another fun activity was getting all of your teammates to the other side of the "electric fence."  We had to plan and brainstorm. We lifted the smallest members through the top holes.  This required a lot of trust in each other.  Everything was a lot like we do in Student Council.  We had to brainstorm, plan and most importantly, communicate with each other to get the job done.  It really helped us to become stronger as a team and trust each other even more than we already did.
