Purple Up! for Military Kids Appreciation Day

April marks the Nation’s “Month of the Military Child,” a time to honor and celebrate military-connected children and youth. To help celebrate this event all students were encouraged to wear a purple colored top or t-shirt on Tuesday -- April 15th as a visible way to show support and recognize military kids for their strength, sacrifices and continued resilience.  Teams earned spirit points by wearing purple to school -- how easy was that?!?  Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military, as it is a combination of Army green, Marine red, and Coast Guard, Navy and Air Force blue.
