The 8th Grade Walk 2025

On Thursday, May 29th, 2025 the mighty Class of 2029 had their final walk around campus as a Highlands Intermediate 8th Grader. Some say that this is a bittersweet moment, but to your 8th Grade Class Council, we saw it as an unforgettable and significant moment in our lives. We got the chance to celebrate our growth and also reflect on our time in middle school as we walked past our old classrooms and hangout spots. The 7th Graders, teachers, staff and admin cheered for us as we walked through the hallways one last time. The 8th Grade Walk is a Highlands tradition started a long time ago and it still made our eyes water and voices tremble as we took our final steps around our beloved campus.
