Earth Day Beautification 2026

Happy Earth Day, Colts! On April 22, 2026, the Highlands Intermediate Student Council teamed up for an epic campus sweep to give our school grounds some massive TLC! A crew of awesome student council members brought plenty of energy and Colts pride, starting all the way at the very bottom of the hill and working our way up to the top of the school at A-building. Along the way, we also thoroughly cleaned up the main crosswalk in front of the school and the nearby bus stop. We didn't stop at just picking up trash, we also gave our iconic "Colts Pride" sign on the fence a much-needed makeover, securing it so it looks fresh, neat, and ready to flex our school spirit for everyone passing by. Taking care of our campus is our way of giving a huge thank you to our community, keeping our long-standing school tradition of service alive. Cleaning up proved that with nothing but a great attitude and teamwork, saving the planet can be a total blast, reminding us all to love our school and always treat our Earth with major respect! Now it is your turn, Colts! Let's all do our part every single day by picking up after ourselves and keeping our beautiful campus looking its absolute best! Solomon Young, 8th Grade Class President 🌍✨
