Kendama Tournament

Kendama's took over Highlands Intermediate this year....next, they're taking over the world!  If you know anything about the wooden stick and ball tis that it is the hottest trend on campus of which the likes we haven't seen before, then you know someone had to do something about it!  The Victory Club in conjunction with All About the Goods, put together the first Highlands Intermediate Kendama Tournament on December 12, 2013 at the PE Courtyard.  35 contestants from the HIS Kendama Club took the "Fitdama" challenge emceed by none other than Mr. Ogata himself!  Mr. Ogata would call out a move and the contestants had 2 chances to nail it or else they were eliminated.  There could be only one and it took almost the entire lunch period to find out who would be HIS' first-ever Kendama Champion!  The person that would hold such prestige and honor would be Katta from Team Fantastic 4!  We certainly look forward to the next highly-anticipated Kendama Tournament to see if Katta will retain his crown or will it be snatched away by a worthy competitor???  We'll just have to practice, practice, practice until the next Kendama Tournament comes to Highlands!
