Xmas Teacher & Staff Appreciation Breakfast

On December 19, 2013, we had a first-ever Xmas Teacher & Staff Appreciation Breakfast in the Cafeteria!  The Highlands Student Governement wanted to thank the teachers and staff for working so hard to make Highlands such an awesome place for students to live and learn!  In addition to Starbucks coffee (thanks, Starbucks Waimalu!!!), the teachers had blueberry pancakes (thanks, Mr. Nakagawa & Mr. Routon!), yummy Portuguese sausage, fresh fruit, pastries, and several other delicious breakfast items.  The Student Government members also served the teachers making the experience even more special!  What more could a teacher ask for, you ask...well, we even had Santa (thanks, Mr. Holskil) and his elves make a special appearance to everyone's great surprise and amusement!!!  It felt so good seeing the teachers and staff so happy so close to the holidays...thank you Highlands teachers and staff members for everything you do for us!  And, please have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
