To commemorate the very special day of love and romance, the Highlands Intermediate Student Council decided to host the epic Valentine’s Dance 2024 “A Tale As Old As Time”, themed after the Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast. Student Council prepared 11 different Beauty and the Beast themed activities from games to activities to concessions and even having a professional photo booth for the first time this year. Students could also vote for their favorite couple at school via tje Valentine’s Kings and Queens Voting Booth! At the end of the dance, the winning couples from 8th grade, 7th grade, and Mixed (7th and 8th) were crowned and photos were taken of them with the entire dance as their witnesses!
