Staffulty Appreciation Breakfast 2025

Have you ever had that one teacher that has done so much for you and you really wanted to return the favor? Don’t worry -- Student Council has your back! On May 9th, 2025, we hosted a luau-themed teacher breakfast for all our hard working teachers and staff here at Highlands Intermediate. Even with an earlier start time this year, we had teachers lining up outside around the corner ready to get their eat on! As soon as the clock struck 7:15 am the breakfast began. The teachers were greeted with leis, Teacher Appreciation Booklets written by their very own students. They next got a chance to spin the Prize Wheel to win luau-themed prizes and last minute spirit points. The annual breakfast was an amazing end to Teacher Appreciation Week 2025 and it was smash success thanks to the Highlands Student Council and our amazing sponsors: Starbucks Pearl City and McDonald's of Pearl City Shopping Center!
