Welcome Back to School 2025

Walking onto campus for a new school year brings a mix of emotions, it is completely normal to feel anxious about new schedules, nervous to talk to new people, and intimidated by higher expectations. To help ease those first-day jitters, the Highlands Student Council kicked off the 2025–2026 school year early in the front parking lot, bringing our DreamWorks theme, "Living the Dream," to life with upbeat music, welcoming posters, and positive energy to make day one memorable. This morning's welcome set the stage for 7th Grade Orientation, a full day of activities where our newest Colts got familiar with the campus, met our staff, and learned what it means to lead as a Colt. The event was a great way for our student government to collaborate, bond as a team, and set a supportive tone for the entire student body. Get ready for an incredible year ahead, Highlands, it will go by faster than you know it, and time flies when you're having fun.
