Highlands Leadership Summit 2026
Highlands Leadership Summit 2026 was an exciting and meaningful event focused on welcoming and preparing our 8 elementary schools' student council members. Designed as both a transition and a learning experience, the summit allowed current members to guide, advise, and support the new team as they stepped into their roles. From the start, we prioritized creating a warm and inclusive environment. Through a variety of games, icebreakers, and group activities, incoming members were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and connect with one another. These activities helped turn initial nerves into confidence, allowing everyone to feel more comfortable and engaged. Team-building played a major role throughout the summit. By working together, new members learned the importance of communication, trust, and collaboration—key skills for a successful student council. Alongside these activities, we also introduced our council’s core values, helping them understand both what we do and why it matters. Overall, the summit helped build confidence, strengthen connections, and set a positive foundation for the year ahead. We are excited to see how the incoming members will grow and contribute to our student council. Avery Chagami, Dance Committee
