For two days only during Lunch we invited students to a challenge, to guess the weight of the Great Highlands Pumpkin! The pumpkin this year was mighty indeed and it looked to be even bigger than some of our very contestants ;) As a reward for their efforts we offered 5 tickets to this year's Shockhouse at the Blaisdell Arena (compliments of Mr. Tom Moffatt), coffins full of candy, and a grand total of 350 spirit points. The rules were simple: 1 guess per student and the guess must be exact or under the actual weight. This event really brought the inner ghoul out in everyone and got everyone excited for the upcoming Halloween Costume Contest the following week.
Great Highlands Pumpkin weighed in at a whopping 22 lbs. 12 oz!
3rd place -- coffin of candy + 100 spirit points -- Tyler (Team Laulima)
2nd place -- coffin of candy + 150 spirit points -- Tyler (Team Laulea)
1st place -- 5 tickets to the Shockhouse + 200 spirit points -- Benette (Team Laulima)
