Halloween Bash 2025

This year's Halloween Bash at Highlands Intermediate School was a frightfully fun event that students will never forget! The school was transformed into a spooky, exciting wonderland filled with thrilling activities, ghoulish games, and plenty of treats.  Slime Lab: Students had a blast at the Slime Lab, where they got to unleash their creativity by making their own slime. With colorful ingredients and lots of gooey fun, everyone left with their unique slime creations and big smiles. Halloween Bowling Bash: Strike! Students rolled their way through a spooky Halloween-themed bowling game. With decorations and themed pins, it was a perfect way to combine fun and friendly competition. Mummy Wrap: Team spirit was on display during the Mummy Wrap activity. Students teamed up to wrap their team leader, transforming them into a spooky mummy. The rivalry teams added an extra layer of fun and excitement! Monster Ring Toss: Who could toss a ring onto the most Halloween character cones? Students tested their aim and precision in this classic game with a spooky twist. Many claimed victory after successfully tossing their rings onto the monsters! The Witches' Nose: Last but not least, students participated in the hilarious Witches' Nose game! The Halloween Bash 2026 was a huge success, filled with spooky fun and lots of laughter. Highlands Halloween Party 2025

The air was crisp, the costumes were creative, and the screams were loud! On October 25th, the Highlands community gathered from 6 to 8 p.m. for what is quickly becoming our favorite tradition: the 2nd Annual Highland Halloween Party. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Highlands Haunted House 13. This year, we took things to a terrifying new level with an “It” theme. Brave souls lined up to face their fears, navigating through red balloons and creepy corridors. The screams of delight (and genuine terror!) echoed through the halls, proving that our haunted house team truly outdid themselves this year. But the scares were just one part of the magic. Outside the haunt, the energy was electric. Families strolled through a marketplace of cool local vendors and grabbed dinner from a lineup of mouth-watering food trucks. It was amazing to see so many students, parents, and neighbors connecting over good food and great festive vibes. Our Highlands clubs stepped up in a big way, running a variety of carnival games that kept the fun going all night long. From ring tosses to spooky challenges, the student leadership was on full display. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this night a smashing success. Highlands Halloween Art Contest 2025

This year, the Halloween Art Contest at Highlands Intermediate was nothing short of epic. Our students went all-in, creating mind-blowing, spooky masterpieces of ghosts, witches, and haunted houses that perfectly captured the holiday hype. The submitted entries created a gallery bursting with color, detail, and creativity—it was like walking through a Halloween dream!  A huge shoutout to our talented winners:

1st Place: Mikayla Simpliciano (Team 2 Hui ha’ahea - Shrek), whose incredible drawing earned the top spot and a $50 Hot Topic gift card!

2nd Place: Danikah Rabaino (Team 4 Alakai - Panda), who brought her A-game to snag second place and 150 Student Points.

3rd Place: Aura Arios (Team C Koa Kau Lio - Turbo), who wowed the judges with her spooky third-place masterpiece.

Mr. White and the student body took time to admire each entry, giving major props to everyone’s talent and effort. This contest wasn’t just about winning; it was about showcasing our incredible school spirit and artistic skills. Halloween Bash 2024

Happy Halloween, Highlands! What better way to celebrate the spookiest day of the year than by having a fun day for students and staff to dress up and participate in some frightful holiday activities all at the same time! This Halloween, there were several activities such as the Halloween Costume Contest and Haunted Highlands Photo Booth! We got to see so many amazing costumes and they were all super creative and spooky! Highlands Halloween Art Contest 2024

The Highlands Halloween Art Contest 2024 started off the spooky season with a bang! Congrats to all of our winners and a huge thank you to all who participated! Honorable Mention went to Isabella, Athena, and Faymelin-Starr! Third Place went to Alexandria with a very colorful drawing wishing everyone a Happy Halloween. In 2nd Place it was Ceana with a very scary drawing sure to keep everybody up at night! And, last but certainly not least, it was Samantha in 1st Place!
