It Doesn't Take a Village, Just a Bunch of Cool Kids
December 18, 2008
We beg and borrow, but don't steal. We're on committees, in clubs, leadership workshop, other classes, we're student government. We're students from different walks of life, color, parts of town, grade level, and style. What brings us all together? Student activities. Why do we do it? Because, intrinsically there is value. 99.9% of the time the only reward is knowing that we did a job well done and that we contributed to making our school a better place. We also know that life is what we make of it and if it weren't for us there wouldn't be any fun and school would be a drag. Who wants that? That's why it's important to have cool kids to make stuff happen and when it comes down to it, that's what really counts.
