Leadership Class

The students in Leadership Workshop never get a break ;) As burgeoning student leaders they learn about and use the Activity Planning Guide to plot out activities for the student body. In this particular case, the Halloween-themed Fall Dance was a perfect opportunity to showcase the many skills they've learned via Leadership Workshop in a real-life situation.
In the chaotic madness of a school dance, the Leadership students were asked to brainstorm ideas for an activity that students could participate in. Group 1 decided on a Halloween Face Painting and Tattoo Booth while Group 2 chose to run a Halloween game called Trick-r-Treat.
After choosing an activity, Leadership students practiced their Layout & Design skills on imaginary Haunted House in P5. They brainstormed ideas, refined them, and presented their project to the entire class for suggestion for improvement. With that valuable experience under their belts the class began work on their real assignment that had an immovable deadline -- Friday, October 30, 12:30 - 2:00 PM...the Fall Dance! With the deadline looming over them the Leadership students performed admirably well and got their Fall Dance Activity projects done on time and the results were....well, just see for yourself in the blog following this one entitled "Fall Dance...It's a Thriller!"
