HBDC Champions...So Monkeyz!

Big shout out to the rest of the crews for participating: the Real Jerkin Krew, KAC, Moonwalkers, and Hip Hop Addicts!
Our bi-annual dance competition is the most popular event here at Highlands Intermediate and this exciting installment was no different! All the crews represented with their well-practiced routines at the PE courtyard during lunchtime. Everyone was "blessed" throughout the competition with a little drizzle and it really showed. To make this competition even more special we were again "blessed" by the very presence of the University of Hawaii Rainbow Dancers who judged the competition.
The crews came fierce but there could only be one winner. After five fantastic performances, the So Monkeyz emerged victorious and got the great privelage of taking home the coveted HBDC trophies and even better, a picture with the Rainbow Dancers!!!
Look out for HBDC 2 sometime early next year. So Monkeyz will give a special guest performance along with some other exciting guests. It's a lot to look forward to but the wait will surely be worth it to find out who the next Highlands Best Dance Crew will be?!?!
