Wassup Highlands Intermediate?!? Now wasn't that spooktacular?! On October 26 & 27 the Leadership Workshop ran a Pumpkin Guess Contest at the Library Coutyard. Although it was raining, we all made the best of it. The Pumpkin Contest was totally spooky but fun at the same time. The object was that the students had to guess the weight of the mighty Highlands Pumpkin. The exciting part about it was...if you guessed the closest to the weight without going over you would win 4 tickets to the scariest haunted house in Hawaii -- NIGHTMARES LIVE! -- and 100 spirit points for their team.
While the Leadership Workshop was running the Pumpkin Guess the Student Government was running a Halloween Candy Gram Booth where students could buy Candy Coffins or Halloween Stuffed Animals and send it along with a message to any of their friends on campus. The Halloween Candy Gram was a first for Highlands Intermediate and definitely won't be the last.
Oh yeah, the mighty Highlands Pumpkin this year came in at a whopping 25 lbs. 12 oz.! Here are the winners for this year's Pumpkin Guess Contest:
