Ho! Ho! Ho! Everybody! Christmas time is here and we had a very special guest to ring in the holidays -- Santa Claus! Only question was: who is Santa? It was rumored that the Santa on our campus was an impostor, not St. Nick. But who could it be? It was up to the students at the Cafeteria to find -- or in this case -- guess who Santa could be! Could he be Mr. Colmenares? Mr. Yamashita? Mrs. Kuheana? As it turns out, the man in the red suit and with cookie crumbs on his beard was none other that...Mr. Anbe! Who knew that our Vice-Principal could look so good with a pillow for a stomach and hot pink shutter shades to boot!
The Winter Dance & Carnival took place in the Gym for the entire school. After the tremendous success of the Fall Dance, Sandbar Entertainment got a chance to host yet another Video Dance! There were tons of free activities like the uber-popular Face & Body Airbrushing by Tribal Tattoos, Steve the Magician, Xmas Balloons, Free Play Basketball and 6 Giant Inflatable Carnival Games with free prizes! Along the Gym Lanai there was all kinds of ono grinds like nachos, pizza, Cup 'O Noodles, Jamba Juice, water, canned juice, and Icee Pops. And, let's not forget about the Awesome Xmas Shop over-flowing with stuffed animals, shutter shades, and all sorts of cool Xmas accessories. What a great way to end 2010, the 2nd Quarter and the 1st semester! Christmas Town! Winter Dance & Carnival will surely be on our minds into the new year, 2011 and beyond!
