"Hearts on Fire!" Valentine's Day Dance

Happy Valentine's Day!  The students as well as some teachers had a blast at the Valentine's Day Dance and Lunch Activity in the PE Courtyard on February 14, 2011.  The theme of the dance was "Hearts on Fire" and there was a little something special for just about everyone!  Students got their groove on on the dance floor where there also was a Balloon Prize Drop.  For the first time at Highlands Intermediate there was a Student DJ, DJ Jonoah, and boy was he awesome!  


For the students that didn't like to dance there were other totally free activities like the Kissing Photo Booth, Balloon Productions and the crowd favorite..."Which Teacher Broke Your Heart" Dunking Booth!  Teachers that gave you too much homework?  DUNK 'EM!  Teachers that always yell at you?  DUNK 'EM!  Teachers that are just...well, teachers!  DUNK 'EM!  As well as anyone could see all the students that attended the Valentine's Dance and Lunch Activity had a great time and all left with smiles on their faces.
