Teacher Appreciation Week!

When it comes to teachers, Highlands has some of the best around!  To show their appreciation for the long hours correcting papers and developing awesome lessons, the Leadership Workshop developed 3 distinct activities to show the teachers of Highlands Intermediate that they are indeed Appreciated!  We started the week off proper on MON 5/2 and greeted our awesome teachers with "Starbucks and Apples" as they entered the Front Office to sign in.  The middle of the week saw some action with a lunch activity entitled "Teacher Shout-Out Booth" where students wrote special notes to all their favorite teachers for spirit points.  Those notes were delivered on top of a most-special breakfast sponsored by none of than Starbucks (Waimalu, Pearl City, Waikele) and iHop (Pearl City)!  Only the best for our teachers -- yum, yum!  With this kind of rejuvenation our teachers are now prepared to begin the final sprint to the end of the best year ever at Highlands!
