Congratulations to Mr. Eric White (Highlands Intermediate School) who received a 2019 Teacher Grant from the Pearl City Community Association during a presentation ceremony at Saturday's 4th Annual K. Mark Takai Family Fun Day held at the Momilani Community Center. The $500 grant will fund leadership training component at the annual Highlands Leadership Workshop 2019.
The Pearl City Community Association annually accepts applications at the end of each school year from teachers within the 10 Pearl City District Complex Schools. The applicants purpose and usage of the grant money is reviewed by the PCCA Teacher Grant selection committee and if chosen, is presented a PCCA Teacher Grant award at the annual K. Mark Takai Family Fun Day community recognition program.

Mr. Eric White is the Student Activities Coordinator and Sports Director at Highlands Intermediate for the past 12 years.
