Teacher Appreciation Breakfast 2022

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We hope you were able to make your amazing teachers feel the appreciation they deserve! At Highlands Intermediate, students across campus made posters, gave gifts, and wrote cards! And at the end of the week, Student Government planned the biggest event for our lovely teachers: our annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast! On Friday, May 6, 2022, at the cafeteria, our teachers could come down to the cafeteria for a stunning breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, and rice, with coffee and juice as their drinks! All of this amazing food was made by our sponsors, McDonalds and Starbucks, as well as our very own cafeteria staff! Thank you for everybody who helped make this happen! And with the energetic students there to entertain and serve our teachers, their biggest social event of the year was a huge success! Our teachers work so very hard every day to make us students the best we can be, and we hope that this year, we have made all of our teachers feel just as special as they make us feel!  Marina, Student Government Treasurer
