Earth Day 2024 Cleanup

The Earth Day 2024 Cleanup at Highlands Intermediate brought together the school community in a concerted effort to nurture the environment and take care of our campus at the same time. Led by the passionate efforts of the Track Team, who tirelessly combed the field to collect every stray piece of trash, the event was a testament to their dedication. Meanwhile, the Drama Club infused creativity by designing eco-friendly posters encouraging sustainable practices, adding flair to the cleanup. The Student Council, embodying the spirit of school pride, crafted a new sign declaring “Colts Pride,” symbolizing their commitment to both environmental stewardship and school spirit. Additionally, the National Junior Honor Society lent a helping hand in various campu cleanup activities, demonstrating their leadership and service to the community. Together, these groups exemplified the power of collective action and camaraderie in fostering a cleaner and more sustainable future for their school and beyond.
