eSport: Madden 2024

If you didn’t know, Madden is the biggest sports game of all time with the very first iteration coming out way back in 1988.  Now, in 2022 it’s bigger than ever and it showed every day of the big tournament!  Students came from all around campus and filled the Student Council Room during grade level lunch to watch their friends compete for the title of Quarter 2 eSports Champion. 16 of each team’s best competitors paired up and  battled it out on the virtual football field to find each team’s champion. At the Finals, the Student Council Room was packed with students cheering on their friends and teammates! The Q2 eSports Madden 2024 tournament was a tremendous success this year! It was so amazing to witness the incredible gaming skills on display as all the competitors battled each other for the 2024 Madden Championship Belt, proving their dominance. It was an absolute blast and the turn out of fans was awesome and we’re incredibly grateful to the Student Council, Mr. Takemura's Music Production Class for DJing, and everyone else who contributed to making this Q2 eSports so enjoyable and thrilling this year!  In the end, the coveted Madden Championship Belt and a $50 GameStop gift card was awarded to the lucky pair of Dylan & Legacy from Team Hui Lokahi!  Zyann Paris, Spirit Committee
