Valentine's Grams 2018

On February 8th and 9th, the students of Highlands Intermediate had the opportunity to share the feeling of love by sending messages and Valentines items to their friends, teachers, and love ones within the school.  A booth was held on these days in the Library Courtyard during lunch. Students could buy silk roses, stuffed bears, cotton candy, and balloons. They would then have the opportunity to write a Valentine’s message to that very special person they wanted the Valentine’s Gram delivered to.  These gift and messages of the heart were delivered by our very own StuCo Cupids on February 13th in Period 7. At least Highlands Intermediate had a small taste of the Valentine’s spirit despite the Valentine’s Day dance being cancelled due to the storm ;)  Taylor, 8th Grade President

Valentine's Grams 2017

It's that time of year again. Love is in the air and couples are forming. So what's better to get that special someone than a Valentines Gram?!? On February 9th and 10th the HIS Student Council held a Valentine’s Grams Lunch Booth at the Library Courtyard during recess and lunch. The students got to choose from roses, honey grams, or meme cards to send to their special someone or friends. Our student council then made the orders and raced to deliver them on Valentine's Day. When the items were delivered the looks of shock and smiles were the best part of the day ;) Kiley, SG Treasurer
