Q2 StuCo Bonding: Christmas Video

“…and since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!” Merry Christmas to all! With winter break approaching, it’s time Student Council Bonding Q2: Christmas themed! In a swish of Christmas joy, the Student Council Room was transformed into an explosion of holiday colors, decorations, and life-sized inflatables. On December 15th, 2021, our elves, clad in stunningly ugly sweaters, filed in, promptly receiving their new, bedazzled elf names (Jingle Toffee Pie..what a lovely name!). And after performing cheers and our Stuco dance, the activities began! Organized by Student Government, we participated in Secret Santa, Blindfold Pictionary, Gingerbread House Contest, Saran Wrap Present, and a fun storytime to cool down! Whew, so many! But we were set for the challenge. The time flew by and through gumdrops and candy, presents and santas, love and playful war…our bond only grew stronger. Thanksgiving 2021: Who’s My Match? Video

Colts, Thanksgiving is coming! As we move on from Halloween and all our spooky activities we’re heading into Turkey Season! One special holiday activity that we have planned for you all is called “Who’s Your Match?”, which will be held today, Tuesday, November 23rd, from Period 6 to the end of lunch. “Who’s Your Match?” packets will be distributed to Period 6 teachers today. Period 6 teachers will then make sure all students have their number card assembled and worn around the neck. The goal of the game is throughout the day to find the person with the same number in the same grade level as you. If you succeed, you and your partner will earn spirit points and a sweet treat at the “Who’s Your Match?” Lunch Booth @ the Library Courtyard. Good luck, Colts!

Student Council Xmas Bonding Activities!

The entire Student Government Room was filled with laughter, screaming, and smiles at the start of the last week before our much-anticipated Christmas Break!  Our annual Secret Santa gift exchange was the first item on the agenda, but not before several awesome gifts from our advisor, Mr. White.  Then the gifts were exchanged and pandemonium ensued for several minutes as everyone yelled and screamed with joy and excitement!  What followed was a lot of boasting and bravado and everyone eventually put their "game face" on for the annual "Gingerbread House Challenge!"  After plans were drawn up (Thinking Map), it was CHAOS!!!  Cereal, gummy worms, marshmallows, colorful candy, icing and sprinkles went flying everywhere!  As the competition came to a close a food fight broke out (it's traditional, at this point ;) and everyone became a sweet, sticky holiday mess!  Now, that's what I call a real "bonding" experience...
