Highlands Haunted House 10: Solo Shots
To keep the Highlands tradition for Halloween, we hosted our annual 3d blacklight haunted attraction - Highlands Haunted House 10 “The Escape From Azkaban!” For a whole week straight, we had student council members run the haunted house with the help of some very talented friends! Thanks to everyone involved, HHH10 was a huge success and made so many unforgettable memories for both the guests and us, the actors! Each Student Council member was assigned a role as either Guides, Actors or Special Effects. The experience all started outside at the Ticket Booth where students were put into groups of four and paired a wizard Guide! First stop in the journey was the infamous Diagon Alley, full of wonder and magic in every corner! While in the Weasley’s Wizard Whizzes shop, guests were arrested by the agents from the Ministry of Magic for “Improper Use of Magic”... with that they all earned a one way trip to the legendary and awful Prison of Azkaban!!! Thank goodness that each of our guides are smart and skilled, that each group was able to escape with their lives and quite a story to tell in the end. We hope you enjoyed this year’s haunted attraction and we hope also hear your screams again next year! Bwahahahahahaha…. Sammi, Assembly Committee

Highlands Haunted House 10: "The Escape From Azkaban!"
To continue and honor the annual Halloween Highlands tradition, we hosted a 3d, black light haunt entitled Highlands Haunted House 10: “The Escape From Azkaban!” For a whole week straight, we have had Student Council members run the haunted house with the help of some amazing friends! Thanks to all of them, 34 students in all, we successfully made another memory for Highlands students that they will never, ever forget! Each cast member was assigned a role to act in the haunted house either as a Guide, Actor, or Special Effects. Teams were allowed to visit on their specified day and they had to show their school ID and HHH10 Ticket to get inside. Each group of 4 students was paired with an intrepid Guide who kept them safe and eventually out alive from the wondrous alleyways of Diagon Alley and eventually the dark, dangerous Prison of Azkaban! HHH10 was our biggest and baddest haunt of them all and we hosted over 1,000 terrified, screaming students, teachers and staff members this year.
