8th Grade Walk 2017

“Don't be sad because you're saying goodbye, you should be happy because you have memories that you’ll cherish forever!” -Unknown. During this school year they had an amazing round of activities like Hunger Games, Quidditch, 8th Grade Banquet, Ho’olaule’a, and their 8th Grade Walk. They walked around the school one last time before heading to their next chapter inside their life. As they said farewell to their friends, and teachers, they gave a big “Mahalo Nui Loa,” to Highlands Intermediate School for helping them becoming better individuals. As of now, they are continuing their journey through high school, and learning to become a better them, and to make an impact on their future. Olivia, StuCo Historian

Farewell Dance 2017 "How Far We'll Go..."

The very last activity of the 2016-2017 school year was our annual Farewell Dance 2017 "How Far We'll Go..." at the Gym for the entire school! There were so many activities such as the photo booth, farewell dance store, Mobile Gamer Guys van, teacher dunk tank, the Frozen Fun Mobiel, and not to mention, lots and lots of dancing! Farewell Dance 2016

The Farewell Dance 2016 was a fantastic way to end an amazing school year! With tons of hugs and goodbyes, the farewell dance was bittersweet as it was fun. With so many activities to do like the always popular teacher dunk booth, giant inflatable obstacle courses, to free fun balloons, tattoo artists, photobooth and flipbooks -- it was a day we’ll always remember. All of the students had the best time reminiscing upon all the accomplishments and good times from the past year just as much as they did getting down on the dance floor.  When it was all over, all everyone could say was that the Farewell Dance was the perfect capstone to an almost perfect year!  Good luck to the Class of 2020 as they head up the hill to Pearl City High School next year… Mariah, Dance Co-Chairperson

8th Grade Walk Class of 2019

Congratulations to c/o 2019 for successfully completing another amazing year of schooling! To mark our move up the hill to Pearl City High School, we took one final walk through our campus. Along the way, we got to hug and say our farewells to our teachers, who have helped us tremendously though out the year. Walking through HIS one last time really makes one ponder all the good and fun memories, such as the Haunted House and getting chased by security in their golf cart if you were late for class. lol!  However, it was also sad to think that in four short years we will be graduating and will be breaking up our "family" of by then six years to follow our own individual paths. Anyway, all the best to c/o 2019! Together, we are bound to do extraordinary things! (:  Peyten, Student Government Treasurer
