Staffulty Christmas Appreciation Breakfast 2023

As the 2nd quarter came to an end, we students wanted to thank all of our teachers, faculty, and staff with a special breakfast they wouldn't soon forget! The staffulty do so much at our school to make us students feel welcomed and worthy. So, on behalf of all students, we planned a fun and entertaining breakfast for the teachers and staff on December 15 at the Cafeteria.  There were holiday themed games, prizes, entertainment, and best of all - food and drinks! Staffulty Appreciation Breakfast 2023

We were able to give teachers the thank you they deserved at the Staffulty Appreciation Breakfast 2023 on Friday - 5/12/23 @ the Cafeteria. To recognize the teachers for their hard work, Student Government planned this event to celebrate our awesome teachers and staff and to show them how much we really appreciate all that they did for us this year. As the staffulty made their way into the Cafeteria they had to make a mandatory stop at the Teacher Photo Booth and then Teacher Prize Drop to score inflatable instruments, score spirit points and even “air hugs” lol! After that, staffulty were treated to juices, coffees, McDonald’s Hotcakes & Sausage platters. You can tell the event was a huge success with all that happiness on their faces ;) Big, big thanks to our sponsors for the event: Starbucks (Waipio) and McDonald’s of Gateway Shopping Center and McDonald’s of Pearl City Shopping Center! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We hope you were able to make your amazing teachers feel the appreciation they deserve! At Highlands Intermediate, students across campus made posters, gave gifts, and wrote cards! And at the end of the week, Student Government planned the biggest event for our lovely teachers: our annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast! On Friday, May 6, 2022, at the cafeteria, our teachers could come down to the cafeteria for a stunning breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, and rice, with coffee and juice as their drinks! All of this amazing food was made by our sponsors, McDonalds and Starbucks, as well as our very own cafeteria staff! Thank you for everybody who helped make this happen! And with the energetic students there to entertain and serve our teachers, their biggest social event of the year was a huge success! Our teachers work so very hard every day to make us students the best we can be, and we hope that this year, we have made all of our teachers feel just as special as they make us feel!  Marina, Student Government Treasurer
