Club Rush 2019

Hey, Colts! Did you go to Club Rush 2019? It took place on Thursday, August 22nd at our Cafeteria. At Club Rush, you could learn about and join tons of different clubs, committees, and sports teams all in one place! There are so many activities to join at Highlands and we hope it makes your school experience positive and fun! Even if you didn’t go to Club Rush, you can still join clubs if you didn’t already get to. If you didn’t find anything you’re interested in, you can always start your own club! With all these clubs and activities on campus, we hope you never get bored here at Highlands!  Bethany, StuCo Historian

Student Activities Fair 2017

The student activities fair was an event to remember!  All club advisors set up shop in the cafeteria to display the colorful array of clubs and extracurricular activities Highlands has to offer.  Many of the clubs are old favorites like Robotics, Chess Club, and Latin Dance Club.  Other clubs were just started this year like the Be-You-Tiful Club, Healthy Cooking Club, and the Box Ukulele Club.  Many others were started by students just like you!  Some examples of student-created clubs are the Yu-Gi-Oh Club, Anime Club, and the J Pop/ K Pop Club.  This event gave students a chance to find a place in school where they can have fun with others who have the same interests.  So whatever your interest may be you can always find a club for it at Highlands Intermediate! Danni Neyer, 8th Grade Class Vice-President

Student Activities Fair 2016 "Hogwarts Comes to Highlands!"

“We’ve got spirit, Yes we do, We’ve got spirit, how ‘bout you!!!” Students got to show their Highlands school spirit by signing up for clubs, committees, and sports on Thursday -- August 18 at the Cafeteria during Lunch. The crowd was so hectic and eager to find all the great opportunities that are available to them at our awesome school!  The energy level was really high and more students showed up than what was expected, leading to crowding and a packed event! SAF’16 was great way for students to learn about our sport teams (cheerleading, basketball, volleyball…), Magic Club, Latin Dance Club, K J Pop Club, Robotics Club, Highlands Jr. Leo’s Club, Hui Aloha Aina Club, Chess Club and so much more…  Students also got to sign up for all the Committees that plan most of the events at our school, like Dance Committee, Spirit Committee, Assembly Committee, and Athletics Committee.  The event was a huge success which means this school year will be best the year ever!!!!  Errol, 8th Grade President
