Highlands Represent! Student Government and the Leadership Workshop help students get involved in school activities and also let them have a voice too. So, at lunch during August 12 and 13th they set up lunch booths to do just that. The other purpose of the booth was to hype up the Welcome Back Assembly that was to come the following day on August 14.
SG ran the "Vote for the 2008-09 School Theme" lunch booth and the Leadership class ran the "The Great Blue Hawaii Surfboard Giveaway" booth. Big thanks to Blue Hawaii Surf for the awesome surfboard and Go Jimmy Go t-shirts! Everybody had a great time and also a chance to get their voice heard and participate in some of the great things going on here at Highlands!
