Super Farewell Activities: 2011-12 School Year -- See Ya!

All great things must come to an end as they say...but before they do, they should go out with a bang! At least that's how we do it here at Highlands Intermediate ;)  On Friday, May 18 all students descending upon the Library Courtyard to celebrate the end of the last full week of classes by livin' it up at the Farewell Lunch Activities hosted by the Leadership Class.  Both 7th and 8th graders were treated to three great activities during lunch: 7th & 8th Grade Memory Wall where they could take in all the great memories throughout the year and write a farewell message in return, the Spin the Wheel to win awesome prizes, and lastly the Superhero Buddy Shots booth where everyone donned superhero masks and crime-fighting gear to capture some great memories with even greater friends.  It's sad to say farewell, but we did it in style!  The Farewell Lunch Activities will always be remembered!
