Welcome to Highlands 7th Graders!

Monday, July 31st was the big day for all the 7th graders entering the Highlands 'ohana! The Highlands Student Government whole-heartedly spent their last day of summer at Highlands to welcome the incoming seventh graders! We made banners and posters and rallied around school, and asked the students if they needed directions to get to their classes to make everyone feel welcome. When everyone got to their homerooms, we visited all the classrooms to welcome them once more. At the 7th Grade Orientation in the cafeteria, the students were able to meet all the 7th grade faculty members and staff. During the rest of the day, we helped teachers get by at their team activities and helped all the 7th graders have loads of great fun on their first day. The first day for our 7th graders was a great success!
