Farewell Assembly & Highlands Ho'olaule'a 2014
"Best year ever!" was the phase going around on the last day of the 2013-14 school year. Capping off the year with 4 awesome culminating events was just icing on the cake. We started the day off like how we began, in the Gym, all 1,000 students anxiously awaiting the many goodbyes and the Summer to come. The Farewell Assembly was dedicated to all of the Class of 2018, our beloved 8th Graders on the final day as a Highlands Colt. We gave away student awards, had special teacher and student performances and said goodbye to one very special teacher, Ms. Moix! We'll miss you Ms. Moix and we wish you all of the best in your future endeavors!!! As the Farewell Assembly came to a conclusion the transition to our annual Highlands Ho'olaule'a was seamless! Featured were amazing Polynesian performances by our Ukulele Classes, Hula Club (Na Keiki o Waimano), ending with our special guests, the PCHS Polynesian Club from Pearl City High School. What a year it was...until we meet again ;)
