Even though COVID-19 has prevented us from celebrating holidays like Halloween in person, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate it virtually! At Highlands Intermediate, we absolutely love to celebrate holidays ;) One way to have fun is for students to express their Halloween spirit by drawing! Students were told to submit their own original Halloween drawings by Friday, October 30th if they wanted to earn spirit points for their teams, win prizes and help share their creative sides. All together, this Halloween Art Contest 2020 was a great way for students to get involved and to show some Halloween spirit! The results for this activity are shown below. Jolie, 8th Grade President
