Club Rush 2022

What type of school would Highlands Intermediate be without amazing clubs for students to join?! This year, Highlands Intermediate Student Council hosted an activity called “Club Rush”. Club Rush is where students from both grade levels get an opportunity to explore clubs and sports teams they might feel interested in! And let's just say, this event was such a success! I say this because so many students signed up for clubs such as…Art Club, Girls Club, Robotics, Aloha 'Aina Club, Cross Country, Basketball and so many more that I lost count ;) There were lines everywhere and students were so excited about all the possibilities! Clubs are a great way to give a student something to look forward to every week and is also a way to keep them busy effectively, along with boosting a students positivity and confidence daily. All I could process in my mind about this experience was that students from Highlands were very passionate about finding something that they truly care about.
