Pearl City High School Pep Rally 2026

Recently, Highlands Intermediate School hosted an energetic pep rally led by student-athletes from Pearl City High School. The event aimed to inspire and excite 8th graders as they prepare to transition to high school. The high school athletes showcased their school pride through dynamic cheers and motivational speeches, giving the younger students a firsthand glimpse into high school life. By highlighting opportunities for leadership, teamwork, and new experiences, the rally boosted school spirit and helped ease any nerves about the future. Club Rush 2025

Ready, set, DREAM! Highlands Intermediate recently kicked off Club Rush 2025, giving students a golden opportunity to "live and learn" by exploring new passions and expanding their friendships. Whether they were drawn to the strategy of the Chess Club, the speed of the Track team, or the challenge of the Math and Science squads, there was an avenue for every student to grow. The energy was electric as Colts walked away with fresh swag, plenty of candy, and massive spirit points—including a big win for Team Koa Kau Lio with 205 points. Club Rush 2022

What type of school would Highlands Intermediate be without amazing clubs for students to join?! This year, Highlands Intermediate Student Council hosted an activity called “Club Rush”. Club Rush is where students from both grade levels get an opportunity to explore clubs and sports teams they might feel interested in! And let's just say, this event was such a success! I say this because so many students signed up for clubs such as…Art Club, Girls Club, Robotics, Aloha 'Aina Club, Cross Country, Basketball and so many more that I lost count ;) There were lines everywhere and students were so excited about all the possibilities! Clubs are a great way to give a student something to look forward to every week and is also a way to keep them busy effectively, along with boosting a students positivity and confidence daily. All I could process in my mind about this experience was that students from Highlands were very passionate about finding something that they truly care about. Club Rush 2021

Another school year at Highlands and you know what that means… time to meet new people, try new things, and join clubs! There's no better event than Club rush to do just that! Whether you’re into art, hiking, robotics, video games, or just want to meet new people, you’d be able to find it and sign up for it at Highlands club rush. Club rush was an event that allowed students to see and get a better understanding of all the different clubs and sign up. Club rush lasted for 1 hour in total, it ran in front of A building during both 7th grade and 8th grade lunch. At this event every club was organized by canopies, and had a neat set up making it easy for students to see and sign up for different clubs. At each canopy you’d find the teacher advisors, student helpers, posters/flyers for the club, and sign up forms. Kamaile, 8th Grade Council President
