To signal the end of this year and to welcome the next we hosted the annual Highlands Intermediate Student Council Induction Ceremony! This event was held in the Pa'ina room at Dave & Buster's Honolulu and included special guest speakers like Senator Brandon Elefante, State House Representative Corey Chun, Dr. Sandy Cameli, Hawai'i State Student Council Advisor Ms. Tiffany Frias, and Pearl City High School 11th Grade President Taryn Hodges! Parents and family were in attendance to see their sons and daughters win awards, participate in the candle lighting ceremony, and in the end, Student Council members bond with the final activity - the Arcade Challenge Team Builder. More importantly, this annual tradition celebrates our current Student Council by looking back at their hard work, dedication and accomplishments throughout this most amazing school year.
