Student Council Boot Camp 2025

To help prepare the Student Council for the upcoming school year, each member took part in StuCo Boot Camp 2025 🤩The best part of the event was the StuCo Alumni who were there to share their knowledge and help prepare us for everything to come. We learned our StuCo Cheers, new StuCo Dance, played all kinds of icebreakers and energizers and even learned how to set up and break down an event. We also learned that our Student Council stands on four pillars: Leadership, Service, Voice, and last but not least Engagement. The whole day was filled with awesomeness from top to bottom! We couldn’t think of a better way to start the year?! Student Council Boot Camp 2024

Student Council Boot Camp 2024 was an awesome adventure to kick off the new school year! The upcoming Student Council 24-25 were able to experience a moment they’ll not soon forget ;) We started the event with StuCo Cheers making everyone step out of their comfort zones to be the best they could possibly be and to show their spirit and pride as leaders! The StuCo Alumni - Mr. White’s former students - came to help facilitate these activities while also teaching and giving us advice based on their past knowledge and experiences. StuCo Boot Camp 2024 helped to empower the next generation of Student Council members to drive positive change and make meaningful impacts for all Colts to last a lifetime! Student Council Boot Camp 2023

As Summer Break 2023 finally came to an end, the Highlands Student Council wrapped up the season of sun with a bang! Tradition has it that at the start of each new school year, Student Council Alumni come back to their beloved alma mater to prepare the new Student Council members for the roles and jobs for the upcoming school year. The event is called Student Council Boot Camp and there were tons of icebreakers, energizers, cheers, trust exercises and dances to get everyone pumped up and ready for the new year!!! Student Council Boot Camp 2023 was an incredible experience as all participants were laughing, smiling, getting to know one another all while having so much fun ;) This event was surely one to remember, while also being the first awesome event to kick off the brand new school year! :)  Sienna Uekce, Student Government Vice-President
