Hey Highlands Teachers & Staff! It's Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week 2020!!!  From the Highlands Student Council to all of you,  we just want you to know how important you are to all of us students and your hard work doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated!  We made this little video for you to remind you how awesome you really are!  We hope you enjoy...

Teacher Appreciation Week 2020 Is Coming Up Next Week!

At Highlands, we appreciate our teachers! So, during quarantine and from the comfort of our own homes, the Student Council planned a series of events for Virtual Teacher Appreciation Week 2020! To show our appreciation, we all pitched in to make a very heartwarming video dedicated to the teachers of Highlands Intermediate that made its debut on May 4th. Then we all wrote appreciation and thank you letters to all of the teachers expressing our gratitude towards them and even reminisced on some of the very special memories we made with them during our time at Highlands. Our teachers have been by our side guiding us through the ups and downs of middle school and we wanted to properly thank them for all that they've done for us. Teachers are the people who help us blossom as students into intelligent and outstanding human beings out of the kindness of their hearts. H.I.S has brought us so many great adventures and memories that we will always remember. Go Colts! And thank you teachers!  Abby, 8th Grade President
