"A Charlie Brown" Xmas Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Ever wonder how you can show your teachers how much they mean to you? Teachers are always constantly aiming for you to become the most successful person that you could be, and what do we do in return? The answer is usually “nothing.”  Well, we, the Highlands Student Council thought that it would be an amazing idea to have a teacher appreciation breakfast to give our teachers thanks before the end of the semester. The 8th Grade Council was tasked to plan and organize the event and they eventually decided to make the theme “A Charlie Brown Christmas” theme! We had amazing food sponsored by Starbucks Waimalu, iHop Pearl City, and Big City Diner Pearlridge!  We also had an amazing entertainment by our very own highlands 8th graders -- Jade and Sarah!  Also, we would like to give a big shoutout to our amazing emcees for the event -- Jaeda and Sarah!  They did an amazing job for entertaining our teachers with a lot of raffles and prize giveaways! Lastly, we would like to thank our teachers for not only helping us with our work, but also for supporting us and making us succeed in life. Without our amazing Highlands teachers, we wouldn't be the to-be-successful people that we all plan to be!  Merry Xmas, teachers!!!  Sarah, 8th Grade Secretary
