Club Rush 2021

Another school year at Highlands and you know what that means… time to meet new people, try new things, and join clubs! There's no better event than Club rush to do just that! Whether you’re into art, hiking, robotics, video games, or just want to meet new people, you’d be able to find it and sign up for it at Highlands club rush. Club rush was an event that allowed students to see and get a better understanding of all the different clubs and sign up. Club rush lasted for 1 hour in total, it ran in front of A building during both 7th grade and 8th grade lunch. At this event every club was organized by canopies, and had a neat set up making it easy for students to see and sign up for different clubs. At each canopy you’d find the teacher advisors, student helpers, posters/flyers for the club, and sign up forms. Kamaile, 8th Grade Council President

Student Activities Fair 2018

So many Highlands Intermediate students came and explored their different interests at the Student Activities Fair 2018! The Student Activities Fair took place in the Cafeteria during Lunch on Thursday -- August 30. It was so awesome because there were so many clubs to choose from, with so many different people bonding with similar interests! With so many different extracurricular and co-curricular activities and clubs, I imagine no one could ever be bored at Highlands Intermediate! Present were some older clubs such as Robotics, Latin Dance Club, and Chess Club…  Other student created clubs were J Pop/ K Pop Club, Yu-Gi-Oh Club, and Anime Club! Newer clubs included the Art Club, Be-You-Tiful Club, and Girls Club! Whatever your passion is, there is a club for you or you can make your own club with the help of a teacher! Alena, Dance Committee Chairperson

Student Activities Fair 2017

The student activities fair was an event to remember!  All club advisors set up shop in the cafeteria to display the colorful array of clubs and extracurricular activities Highlands has to offer.  Many of the clubs are old favorites like Robotics, Chess Club, and Latin Dance Club.  Other clubs were just started this year like the Be-You-Tiful Club, Healthy Cooking Club, and the Box Ukulele Club.  Many others were started by students just like you!  Some examples of student-created clubs are the Yu-Gi-Oh Club, Anime Club, and the J Pop/ K Pop Club.  This event gave students a chance to find a place in school where they can have fun with others who have the same interests.  So whatever your interest may be you can always find a club for it at Highlands Intermediate! Danni Neyer, 8th Grade Class Vice-President
