Spirit Week 2019: Wacky Day

“The Most Magical School on Earth” got a little crazy during Wacky Day this year! Highlands students and staff put on their most crazy and colourful outfits for the day! Dressing up in mismatched, backward clothes and even putting crazy colours in their hair! Highlands students already looked like memes so why not finish the meme?!? From Peppa Pig to chickens to Kermit the Frog, the whole audience was shouting out all their favorite memes! Spirit Week 2018 "Wacky Day

How can you make a soup rich? You add 14 carrots! WaCkY WeDnEsDaY was a success as evidenced by all the backwards and warped people spread out all across campus! Both students and teachers arrived in the craziest outfits, especially those Highlands Student Council members ;) All the wackiness culminated in the Wacky Day Costume Contest in the Cafeteria where 1 boy and 1 girl from each team vied to be most wackiest couple on campus! Spirit Week 2017 Activity: Wacky Wednesday Costume Contest!

Every year there is a huge fight for the throne of wacky at Highlands Intermediate and that can mean only one thing... WACKY WEDNESDAY IS BAAAAAACK!!! Today in the Cafeteria we had all the teams decked out with floaties, ugly sweaters, wicked glasses worn upside down, crazy face tattoos, boxing gloves, and… a men dressed like girls?!? Congratulations to Team Hui Mana’o (Batman) win the win!!! Spirit Week 2015

Spirit Week 2015 was a hit! Each day you were allowed to dress up to match the theme determined. Monday had students dressed in their sports uniforms, their favorite team jerseys, and more! On Tuesday, students dressed up as their favorite Disney or Pixar characters. Wednesday was a wacky one! From boys dressed as girls, to dressing up as teachers, Highlands had it all! Thursday, was a day to dress up as your favorite cartoon character. Lastly, on Friday, students dressed up as different Star Wars characters to support Highlands’ theme of the year 2015-16.
