Highlands Halloween Party 2025

The air was crisp, the costumes were creative, and the screams were loud! On October 25th, the Highlands community gathered from 6 to 8 p.m. for what is quickly becoming our favorite tradition: the 2nd Annual Highland Halloween Party. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Highlands Haunted House 13. This year, we took things to a terrifying new level with an “It” theme. Brave souls lined up to face their fears, navigating through red balloons and creepy corridors. The screams of delight (and genuine terror!) echoed through the halls, proving that our haunted house team truly outdid themselves this year. But the scares were just one part of the magic. Outside the haunt, the energy was electric. Families strolled through a marketplace of cool local vendors and grabbed dinner from a lineup of mouth-watering food trucks. It was amazing to see so many students, parents, and neighbors connecting over good food and great festive vibes. Our Highlands clubs stepped up in a big way, running a variety of carnival games that kept the fun going all night long. From ring tosses to spooky challenges, the student leadership was on full display. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this night a smashing success. Fall Dance 2023 "Super Mario Party!"

 “Yahoo!” Highlands Intermediate Fall Dance 2023: “Super Mario Party!” was a major hit with all students, teachers and staff members!  It was so fun to see so many Nintendo characters roaming around participating in so many Nintendo-themed activities at the dance! The cafeteria was absolutely decked out with so many Mario-themed activities and decor that the plumbing brothers would be so proud hahahaha!  Aside from all the powered up activities, the dance was filled with many students dancing like superstars!  Dance circles and groups formed and everyone was showing off their dance skills and singing to the hits!  The music was poppin', the activities were boomin’, and the dance was so lively!!!  So many memories were made and we can’t thank the Dance Committee and the entire Student Council for putting this all together!  MC Molina, Spirit Committee

Intramural Champions Party 2018

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!! That's right everyone! It's the Intramural Championship Party 2018 for all the teams who won the intramurals this school year!  They were invited to the StuCo Room at lunch and they were recognized, got a perpetual Intramural Championship Trophy with their team name, and a pizza party!!! The winning teams were treated to a buffet of pizzas and chips as well as other snacks, with capri sun as drinks and ice pops for dessert. Congratulations to teams Q1 Dodgeball Champions -- LAULEA, Q2 Intramural Volleyball Champions -- HUI HA’AHEO, Q3 Capture the Flag Champions -- HO'OKO, Q3 Soccer Champions  -- HUI HA’AHEO, and finally Q4 Intramural Basketball Champions -- HUI MANA’O! Double congratulations to team HUI HA’AHEO for winning not one, but two intramurals for this school year! Thank you everyone for coming down and turning in your pass as it was your ticket to getting in as well. We hope to bring you more fun and more intramurals next school year. Intramural Champions Party 2017

Pizza, Ice pops, Juice, and Chips! What does that sound like? Well yes, it does sound like a party, doesn’t it?!? But, not any party  -- it’s the Intramural Champions Party 2017! All students that participated in an intramural championship team were invited to a party celebrating their big accomplishment. Never done before, team Hui Mana’o won 3 out of the 4 \ intramurals -- an intramural hat trick -- and Fantastic 4 won the other. Each team leader received a perpetual trophy for their sport so their coaches can now have bragging rights for an entire year!. Hui Mana’o won an amazing 3 intramurals and now holds the Dodgeball, Kickball, and Basketball trophies, making all the other teams so very jealous. Fantastic 4 holds the soccer trophy hoping to gain more trophies in the new future. Every student had a blast at the celebration as they ate pizza and hung out celebrating their accomplishments. StuCo End-Of-Year Celebration!

This year’s Student Council is coming to an end and that means it's the StuCo End-of-Year Celebration ! this was a way how to reflect back on all the wonderful things we did this school year. One of the things we did was To be honest. This is when we passed around everyone's paper and put how we felt about that person. We even passed out pictures to remember all the fun times we had together as one big StuCo family . At the end, we had the biggest ice cream ever and everyone was hyper !!!
