Highlands Intermediate School Talent Show 2026: An Unforgettable Night of Talent and Inspiration! The Highlands Intermediate School Talent Show 2026 was a night to remember! Students showcased their incredible talents on stage, filling the auditorium with energy, creativity, and passion. From soulful singing to captivating dance routines, the show was a true celebration of our students’ diverse abilities. This year's lineup included talented singers, dancers, and even a group performance that had everyone clapping along. A highlight of the event was a vibrant Nesian dance, featuring Polynesian, Melanesian, and Micronesian cultural performances that brought a lively and colorful touch to the evening. The competition was fierce, but the judges and audience were especially captivated by the performances. First place went to Ashlynn Peralta, who performed a beautiful hula to "Kaimanahila," capturing everyone's hearts with her grace and authenticity. Second place was awarded to The Abbettes, a dynamic group of girls who delivered an impressive medley of hits from the 80s, entertaining the crowd with their energy and choreography. Third place was claimed by Tayvin-Deisha Kim-Charles, whose performance of a captivating and powerful song left everyone in awe. Overall, the Talent Show 2026 was an enticing evening filled with inspiring performances and unforgettable moments. Talent Show 2026 Auditions

For our third big assembly of the year, the amazing Talent Show, was coming up so we hosted auditions in the Student Council Room over 2 days.  Talent Show Auditions is where we pick the top 8 acts that Highlands has to offer!  Anyone could audition either for a solo act or as a group. During the auditions the Student Council Room filled up to watch the performances and to cheer on their friends and teammates. It was so amazing to see the various talents that our students had to offer!  The Talent Show Finalist will be announced over the Colts Morning Bulletin the following day… best of luck to all the auditions!!! 

 

Talent Show 2024

We decided to go out for Spring Break with a BANG!  We hope you enjoyed Highlands Intermediate’s 2024 Talent Show!  Acts ranged from dancing, singing, and a mix of both ;)  Our contestants put on their best show and the fans came out and showed some spirit by cheering and screaming their butts off!! Participants practiced and worked their hardest to  put on a fantastic show and that's what they displayed. We had judges coming from Palisades Elementary (Principal Tsue), the President of the Pearlridge Rotary Club (Mr. Mosko), and our very own principal (Principal Tanouye), but I bet choosing our winners was a struggle... Nonetheless, we really ought to thank very own our Assembly Committee for hosting and running this event with the help of Highlands Student Council. Finally, our top 3 winners for HIS Talent Show are none other than:

1st Place - Zyann 

2nd Place - Mahina, Kansas, Chloe, Nicole Ryden

3rd Place - Garyann, Keviann, Kiumalyn

Talent Show 2023

This year’s Highlands Intermediate Talent Show 2023 was such a hit! Students got the opportunity to represent their Teams by showing their personal talents with their teachers, staff, students, and friends! The performers had such bravery to sing, dance, show off their skills in dancing, singing and even speed-solving Rubik’s Cubes! From soloists, duos to whole teams - the performers worked it and worked the crowd hard to show off their talents. The audience was clapping and cheering with joy throughout all the performances - what excitement it was to behold?!? To top it all off, our special guests were none other than “Crossing Rain” who came not only to judge but also to perform! And let’s just say that their performance was the highlight of the event and they got swarmed with students and teachers alike asking for their autographs and pictures… it was just awesome!
