Q2 Intramural: Volleyball 2025

The courts were alive this week as our Volleyball Intramurals took center stage. Between the rhythmic pulse of the music and the roar of the crowd, the energy was undeniable. Our teams displayed incredible athleticism and heart, leaving everything on the floor in a series of thrilling sets. Beyond the competition, it was the sense of community that truly shone. Whether it was a perfectly timed block or a desperate dive to keep the ball alive, teammates and friends were there to lift each other up. Congratulations to our 2026 Winners: We are proud to recognize Koa Kau Lio for taking home 1st place, followed by Kupono in 2nd, and Laulea in 3rd. Intramural Volleyball 2025

The final intramural of the year was Q4 Intramural Volleyball 2025 and the action was intense as it was exciting! Every team brought their A game and the competition was way more exciting than was expected. There were some epic rallies, jaw dropping digs and serious slams! The energy on the court was insane—cheers, high-fives, and last-minute saves everywhere.... There were so many club volleyball players out on the courts, Mr. White called it the best ever intramural volleyball he’s ever witnessed in all his years at Highlands ;) Not only that but everyon played their hearts out. Big, big shout out goes to Q4 Intramural Volleyball 2025 Champions, Team Koa Kau Lio!!! We can’t wait to do it again next year!  Tegan Shadwick, Student Government President

Intramural: Volleyball 2023

The seven Teams here at Highlands love to compete!  So, that meant that  it was time for the annual Q2 Intramural Volleyball tournament!  Hundreds of students from every team came down at lunch and played their hearts out each and every day.  Everyone worked hard and played their very best, but in the end only one team could be Volleyball Champions!  7th grade Hui Ha’aheo took the win home and for the 8th Graders it was Team Laule’a who took the win!  There were many close calls, spikes, and dives, but every team played their hearts out. Intramural Volleyball 2023

Everyone got “served” some intense and amazing action all week long with our third intramural of the year: Volleyball!  Spirits were high and the games were packed with enthusiastic fans cheering for their favorite team and players!!!  There were many close calls, dives, and spikes during these games with a lot of awesome saves, and some big time upsets... But in the end, it was Team Laule’a that ended our annual event with a stunning win and eventually took home the trophy!  Kili, 8th Grade Treasurer

Q2 Intramural: Volleyball was one rollercoaster with so many close games going all the way to the last point.    We’d like to give shout-outs to Ms. Moore and Mr. Karwiel for coming out everyday to help us setup and referee all the matches!!!
