Love is in the air, Colts! On Monday, February 10th, 2025 we had a matchmaking event called “Who's My Match?”, where broken hearts had to find their match in order to get some spirit points, a yummy ice cream rewards and more importantly, to connect with a new friend ;) Period 1 teachers were given paper hearts split in half to pass out to all students. During recess and grade level lunch the students had to try to find their matches any which way they could! Kids were holding up their hearts in the hallways in a desperate attempt to find their matches. And if they succeeded, they would be able to make plans with their new buddy to meet up on the way to the StuCo Room for their sweet rewards. On the week before Valentine’s Day, it was “mission accomplished”: hundreds of matches were made and the spirit of new friendship was everywhere to be felt ;) Mikayla Mathis, 7th Grade Class Council

Valentine's 2022: Who's My Match?
Nothing speaks more of love than reuniting broken hearts! On Valentines, whether it’s romantic or platonic or for your friends or family, love is out there! Who's My Match: Valentines Edition was the sequel of the Thanksgiving Who’s My Match, but with broken hearts that needed to find their lost half. This activity started on the morning of Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 with a variety of pink and purple hearts with various designs like a beautiful heart engulfed in flames! These hearts were distributed to the period 5 teachers who gave each student half of a heart. When recess and lunch came around, students with a broken heart around their neck scouted out their lost half. When they were successful, they could come down to the library courtyard with their other half during lunch and win a special sweet treat and spirit points for their team! This activity is always a joy to play, and we hope it brought you some joy and maybe sparked a new friendship! Marychris, Assembly Committee Chair

Thanksgiving 2021: Who's My Match?
Colts, Thanksgiving is coming! As we move on from Halloween and all our spooky activities we’re heading into Turkey Season! One special holiday activity that we have planned for you all is called “Who’s Your Match?”, which will be held today, Tuesday, November 23rd, from Period 6 to the end of lunch. “Who’s Your Match?” packets will be distributed to Period 6 teachers today. Period 6 teachers will then make sure all students have their number card assembled and worn around the neck. The goal of the game is throughout the day to find the person with the same number in the same grade level as you. If you succeed, you and your partner will earn spirit points and a sweet treat at the “Who’s Your Match?” Lunch Booth @ the Library Courtyard. Good luck, Colts!
