Pearl City Christmas Parade 2024

This year the Highlands Intermediate Student Council took part in the Pearl City Christmas Parade 2024! There were many songs, cheers, and most of all SPIRIT!!! There were so many schools, students, and clubs representing this year…It seemed as if the entire Pearl City community was out there cheering on everyone from the start at Momilani Elementary all the way to the end, Pearl City Shopping Center. There were so many floats and classic cars too that were decorated top to bottom in holiday swag! The Pearl City Christmas Parade was a holiday BANGER! The Student Council did such an absolutely great job with all their hard work over the weeks of preparing for their performance. Bravo to the Highlands Student Council and their AWESOME Student Activities Coordinator, Mr. Eric White ;) Herbi Abija, 7th Grade Council

PCHS Homecoming Parade 2019

“Be LOUD! Be EXCITED! HAVE FUN!”  These were the only rules that counted in the PCHS Parade 2019. Student Council teamed up with the Highlands Intermediate Cheerleaders to march in the parade. In front of the freshman class and behind the high school cheerleaders, our students marched, chanted, and gave away candy all the way down to Pacheco Park. We cheered and laughed, and sweated like CRAZY! But in the end, it was an experience that we’d never forget.  Celice, 8th Grade Secretary

PCHS Homecoming Parade 2018

“G-double O-D J-O-B, Good Job, Good Job!” AMAZING job to the Highlands Student Council and Cheerleaders in their participation in the PCHS Homecoming Parade 2018! All of us were so very excited to participate, once again, in the parade with all of the high schoolers. The school spirit was all around as citizens of our community lined up the streets, clapping along the the upbeat rhythm and melodies the PCHS Band was laying down. Happiness could be found in every direction, with smiles on every face. All the high school classes -- Senior ℅ 2019, Junior ℅ 2020, Sophomores ℅ 2021, Freshman ℅ 2020 --  were marching with some pep in their step, behind their class floats and the cars that held their class Kings and Queens. The fun sadly came to an end as we ended our march at Pacheco Park at the bottom of Pearl City. To conclude, the PCHS Homecoming Parade was filled with excitement, great fun and memories students from both schools with never, ever forget.... GO COLTS! GO CHARGERS! PCHS Homecoming Parade 2017

This year’s PCHS Homecoming Parade 2017 was a blast! People everywhere were cheering and screaming as our very own Highlands Student Council and HIS Cheerleaders participated to show support for Pearl City High School! The PCHS Marching Band led the way, followed by the PCHS Cheerleaders, and all the homecoming kings and queens, all waving and cheering the whole route. The Senior, Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman classes all walked from the high school all the way to Highlands Intermediate and ended up at Pacheco Park. In the end, there was so much happiness and excitement with so people taking pictures, hugging, and high-fiving -- we just knew the PCHS Football team was going to come away with a victory on Homecoming!!!  Brandie, Student Government Treasurer

Pearl City High School Homecoming Parade 2015

We got spirit, yes we do! We got spirit how ‘bout you?! This year’s annual PCHS parade was on September 25, 2015. Highlands Student Council and cheerleaders marched alongside the PCHS marching band, cheerleaders, and the homecoming kings and queens. This exciting parade started at PCHS and ended at Pacheco Park. The band did an awesome job of pumping up the crowd. The HIS Student Council cheered, jumped and clapped with joy to support the high school from start to finish! We also passed out candy to all of the kids and adults that were cheering us on throughout the parade route! Overall, the parade was a hit and we throughly rocked Pearl City onto victory!!!  Jaeda, 8th Grade Class VP
